Hello Parents and Kids!
We hope you’ll consider coming back to in-person worship and to 9 AM kids programs soon! In the meantime, we invite you to access all the materials kids in classes in the building are learning.
Let’s Start With Worship!!!
It’s so good to worship the Lord together. Here are songs we have used at FCC to draw our hearts to Jesus and praise Him for His love for us – every day!

Discuss
For Preschoolers through 1st grade:
1. Watch Bible video 1 above.
2. In this video we see Jesus telling a story about a man who was hurt while traveling along a road. Have you ever traveled or hiked a long road? Was it fun or hard?
3. First, a priest or pastor came along the road and saw the man who was hurt. What did he do for the man?
4. Second, a Levite or an important man saw the hurt man. How did he respond?
5. Third, a man from Samaria walked by and he saw the hurt man. How was his response different from the other two?
6. How did this last man treat the man who was hurt?
7. Jesus told this story to show us that we are asked to show kindness and love to everyone – even people we don’t like or who don’t like us. Is there someone in your neighborhood or school that is hard to love? What does Jesus say about how you should treat them?
8.Print out the activity sheets and complete them. Remember, Jesus can help us show kindness to everyone.
For 2nd-5th graders:
1. This Bible story in the New Testament is found in the gospel book of Luke 10:25-37. Watch video 2.
2.Today we see Jesus telling a story about three men walking along a road and their difference responses to someone who was hurt. Have you ever been hurt or troubled? Has anyone ever helped you?
3. Can you figure out the parallel story as you read or listen? Jesus always has a deeper meaning to teach us important truths about God. How is the way the third man, the Samaritan, different from the way the first two men treated the hurt man lying on the road?
4. Can you retell the story to someone in your family? What is Jesus’ main point?
5. What did you learn about God from this story? Jesus always shows love and compassion to everyone – no matter who they are. He doesn’t play favorites. How can we also live like that – showing kindness to those we love and those who are hard to love?
6. Continue the conversation at home this week. Look for ways to show kindness, especially to those who are unlovely or different than you are.
