People Care Ministry
Every one of us goes through difficult seasons in our lives. Our People Care Ministries offer the hope of Jesus through presence, resources and prayer, so that no one in our church has to suffer alone.
Care happens in many ways at FCC . It happens most often within our small groups. This includes large groups, broken into small groups and independent small groups. This is a beautiful, necessary and primary way of handling all of our needs all of the time. Very real needs are met by the 100s without any awareness outside of each of those small communities.. The strength of our family depends on these small groups as the first and frontline of care.

The types of care provided is the first line of crisis engagement and financial needs. Also dealing directly with sin, repentance, restoration, counsel and spiritual direction and leadership.

Stephen Ministry equips lay-people to provide one-to-one Christian care to people in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.

Recovery Needs - Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery (CR) exists as the safe place to share and find help and freedom from our hurts, habits and hang ups. CR is where we come as we are, regardless of our struggles.

Practical Needs - Be Team
A team of people who volunteer to help meet practical needs like fixing cars, helping elderly with snow removal, raising fences, repairing roofs, etc.
Outside Resources of Care
These include emergency contacts, local counselors, and in-patient programs

CARING FOR THE COMPLEX NEEDS OF EACH PERSON...
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them glory that you gave me , that they may be one as we are one- I in them and you in me- so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” Prayer of Jesus- John 17:20-23
The most honored parts of the body are not the head or the hands, which lead and control. The most important parts are the least presentable parts. That’s the mystery of the Church. As people called out of oppression into freedom, we must recognize that it is the weakest among us – the elderly, the small children, the handicapped, the mentally ill, the hungry and sick – who are the real center. Paul says, “It is the parts of the body which we consider least dignified, that we surround with the greatest dignity” (1st Corinthians 12:23)
When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
Again Jesus said, “”Simon son of John, do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”

“The the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we too you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
