About Fellowship

A short history

Fellowship Community Church began with Mark and Marian Willey’s desire to see people come to know, love, serve, and enjoy Jesus Christ. They held their first service on Easter Sunday in 1981 at Lenape High School. Four years later they were able to purchase land and build the multi-purpose facility now used as the church gymnasium. This building held services, youth activities, and various outreaches for years until the current worship center was added in 2000. Steady growth and the Lord’s prompting led church leaders to expand the reach of Fellowship by adding an additional satellite campus in Haddonfield during the fall of 2009 which has since moved to Collingswood. In 2024 Pastor Mark retired and Pastor Mike Candy, who has attended Fellowship most of his life and been on staff as a pastor for over 10 years, took on the role of Lead Pastor.

Our Mission

FCC exists to be a community of hope through Jesus Christ

Our Vision

FCC seeks to help build communities that experience hope in Jesus Christ and share that hope with our neighbors here and around the world.

What We Believe

Below are the 7 DNA that help define what we believe and the reasons behind the way we do ministry here. Click on each one to hear a short discussion from the pastors on that topic.

Steps to Membership

Salvation

Our first prerequisite for membership is that you have a saving relationship with Jesus. Part of your membership application and interview will involve sharing your testimony of salvation. Would you like to know more about receiving Christ? Nothing would give us greater joy then to talk with you more about this. Contact the church office at 856-235-1697

Baptism

Our second prerequisite for membership is that you have been baptized by immersion following salvation. Would you like to signup for our next baptism class? Contact our main office at info@fellowshipsj.org

Readiness to Covenant

We view membership to our church as entering into a covenant relationship with one another. This involves mutual accountability, commitment to regular giving, service and praying for each other. Download and read the covenant above on this page.

Membership Class

Prior to submitting a membership application, we do ask that you attend our membership class. Check for the next available class on our Events page or contact our main office at info@fellowshipsj.org

Membership Application

If you have completed all of the above steps you are ready to apply for membership (we give out the link when you complete the Membership Class). After your application is received, one of our deacons will be in touch soon to schedule an interview.
