New Worship Service Times

Has anyone else out there had a hard time finding a parking spot and wound up parking on the grass? And what about navigating that traffic jam between services? Have you ever felt a little claustrophobic in the lobby between service, trying to plow your way to your destination? And what about squeezing into the last remaining seats in the middle of the aisle at the start of a service? We feel it too!

The staff has been has been hard at work thinking and praying through any potential changes that could help address these persistent issues, and we've arrived at a solution that will help alleviate some of these pain points. We’re planning to change our worship service times to 8:45 and 10:45 beginning April 27th, 2025. Here's a few reasons why:

Time and Space Together - Increased time between services gives time and space in our lobby for unhurried conversations!

Staff Presence - Our goal as pastors and staff is to meet new people in the lobby and also be present in our welcome party!

Seating Capacity - Most Sundays, the first service is close to capacity while the second service has plenty of open seats. By adjusting service times, we hope to spread out attendees between 8:45 and 10:45.

Parking Lot Problems - Thanks to the awesome parking team and extra time between services, we’ll have smoother transitions and fewer traffic jams. 

Currently there are no changes being made to the children's program in either service.

Thank you so much for your patience over these past few months as the tight spaces have likely cramped your style, and for continued patience as we all adjust to this timing change. We know this is not a guaranteed fix for all of these issues, but we feel confident this is a big step toward helping our Sunday mornings serve our whole church body better.
