Teaching & Counseling Pastor

Fellowship was my first church as a baby in 1983. After spending 10 years in Chicagoland area for college, seminary and a youth ministry position, I came back to be a pastor at FCC in 2010. I have had several different positions over the years and have loved the chance to serve in various ministries of the church.

I am the Teaching and Counseling Pastor, and that involves engaging our pastoral staff in the process of those beautiful endeavors. Our model of ministry among the pastors is very relational at its heart and we share the load of both preaching and pastoral counsel.

Being a church kid for my entire younger life, it is difficult to pinpoint a moment where my worldview of God shifted. However, through a journey in my teen and young adult life, my emotional understanding underwent a profound reduction and redirection. Let’s call it reconstruction. It is during this time, that Jesus Himself showed me the depths of his love. This journey was through great confusion and personal mental health struggles. Coming out of that time, I am left with a God who lives and loves in both light and dark. He is more than everywhere. He is everything.

My wife Adriana and I were married in 2006 and we have four children - Atticus, Solomon, Eden, and Cielo. We love to travel, be outdoors, and read. Most of us like the Philadelphia sports scene, although it’s tough to get my midwestern bride to understand just how important they are. Adriana and I are deeply fond of individual conversation, spiritual formation, and the incredible privilege of sitting with people at the intersection of Jesus and everyday life.
